MEDICAL BOARD SUSPENDS PHYSICIAN‘S LICENSE

Scottsdale, Ariz. - The Arizona Medical Board voted unanimously today (September 28, 2005) to suspend the license of Tammy L. Tadom, M.D. because of an imminent threat to public health and safety. Dr. Tadom is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

On August 22nd, the Medical Chief of Staff at Kayenta Health Center in Northern Arizona informed the Board that Dr. Tadom‘s contract with the health center had been terminated after she had diverted narcotic medication from a patient and kept it for herself.

The Medical Board made repeated attempts to contact Dr. Tadom by phone, mail and email, but was unsuccessful. Eventually, Dr. Tadom called the Board on September 27th and left a message with a different contact phone number. When Board staff tried to reach her at that number, they got an answering machine.
