Board Coordinator
Salary Range:

Range - $25,070 - $34,323 - $43,577 (starting salary in lower to mid-range)

Class Code: Uncovered, Grade 17 (Serves at the pleasure of the Executive Director)
Location:

9545 East Doubletree Ranch Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Job Description:

Challenging position in a fast-paced, team environment at the Arizona Medical Board. The Board Coordinator will perform a variety of functions in the Planning & Operations Center. A list of job duties will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Reviewing Board materials for accuracy and agendizing cases on the Arizona Medical Board and the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants
  • Taking minutes of Board meetings
  • Notifying licensees, attorneys and complainants of Board meetings
  • Responding to requests for formal interview case materials
  • Maintaining minutes subscription database

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures regarding confidentiality
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Professional, independent self-starter
  • Proficient computer knowledge including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat programs
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, analyze, and coordinate team activities
  • Ability to apply and interpret State statutes and agency rules, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to work with accuracy and speed
  • Ability to gather and organize documents and summarize data
  • Ability to respond to the public with tact, diplomacy and appropriate, timely information

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in related field
Two years related work experience
